Bill & Beck on a Bad Week for the Cuomos, More Controversy with the Colorado Baker, and More

Bill and Beck began Friday’s interview by talking about the Google situation. Bill says that the problem with Google is that it allows false information to be put on its service. Some people dispute that fact by saying it’s a beacon of freedom and allows access to all information. While that is true, what happens when someone decides to write a smear piece? Google won’t check any of information to see if it’s factual, so it will live in the internet world forever. Bill goes on to say that Google from its inception has been a flawed and dangerous vehicle because it allows unfiltered material and people believe it. Beck disagrees saying that he doesn’t think information is dangerous, even if it’s false. Bill counters Beck’s point and says that  ‘you’re going to sit there and tell millions of people listening to you that there’s no danger in having an organization just put stuff up that has not been vetted at all?’

Bill is really worried about children and teens who basically use Google as their Bible. These people don’t know the difference between a smear piece and factual information. Beck asks Bill if he were king, would he tell Google which sites to censor? Bill says what he would do is make defamation a crime; it would become a criminal act. Therefore, self-censorship would kick in because the slime merchants and guttersnipes wouldn’t publish their false claims online.

Beck returns with the news of the week; the first topic is the Colorado baker who has said he won’t back a cake for a transgender woman. The case has gone from prosecution to persecution. Jack Phillips, who owns Masterpiece Cakeshop, was previously under fire for refusing to bake a cake for a gay couple. Bill says that if someone doesn’t want to bake a cake for religious reasons that should be respected.

Bill and Beck move on to the topic of Andrew and Chris Cuomo. Bill says that they are both victims of political correctness, it’s a contagion and they have caught it. Bill believes that after the statement that Gov. Andrew Cuomo made saying that America ‘was never that great’, that he no longer has a real chance in running for president in 2020, which he previously said that he wanted to do. That comment will haunt him for the rest of his life.

Bill believes that Gov. Cuomo is a guy who wants everyone on the left to love him, so he has moved to the far left, instead of being moderate. For Gov. Cuomo to say that the country is not all that great is crazy. Billions of people have been saved by the United States. What other countries in the history of the world can say that? No other country is even close. The fact is that America, through our blood, treasure and sacrifice, has saved and freed billions of people, making America great.

CNN Anchor, Chris Cuomo, came out this week with an even crazier statement, saying that the violence of Antifa is OK if you’re standing up against a neo-Nazi, in which case it's morally justified. Bill says that when Chris Cuomo was working at FOX he met with him. Bill says that Chris is a bright guy, but again, a victim of political correctness. So, Chris sees this unbelievable rise of neo-Nazism in America. However, after seeing how few neo-Nazis showed up for the protests in Charlottesville and Washington, D.C. recently, you would understand that they were not a threat compared to the number of counter-protesters at each of these events. However, Chris sees the neo-Nazi protests as a horrendous threat and if you oppose it, even if you’re an anarchist who attacks people and sets businesses on fire, it’s OK because you are against the neo-Nazi’s, who are, of course, the direct threat to liberty in America.

Bill goes on to say that these far-left people are really dangerous because they’ll do anything to destroy people with whom they disagree. If Chris Cuomo thinks that neo-Nazi’s are the problem he should take another look at the far-left.

Beck’s last topic for Bill concern the Omarosa tapes which have slowly been being released to the media. Omarosa claims to have 200 tapes, but so far, they all seem to be worthless. But she has now proven herself to be conniving. If she’s to be taken at her word that she has that many tapes, then she started taping people during the 2016 election. Bill’s comment is that he doesn’t care what she is saying because it is insignificant. Anybody who would tape people to the extent that she did is untrustworthy and a bad person. She had her eye on the prize the whole time, she used the tapes to get a book deal, and now she has one. It’s all about money for her.
