Bill returned to video Friday for a special abbreviated edition of the No Spin News.  He advised Premium Members that he had just completed two very interesting interviews – the usual Friday discussion with Glenn Beck and another interview with Newsmax.  Both interviews are available here on BillOReilly.com and both deal extensively with the ongoing statue madness. 

"This is getting out of control," Bill declared on the No Spin News.  "Now they're throwing shrouds over statues, the nutty New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio wants to knock down Christopher Columbus, and they are talking about taking down a statue of Peter Stuyvesant, who founded Manhattan.  This is never going to end!" 

Bill pointed out that "Killing England," which is coming out next month, deals honestly and extensively with the Founding Fathers.  "Washington and Jefferson held slaves," he said, "but how did they conduct themselves on their plantations?  This assault on American history is going to continue by the far left, and you have to be armed with knowledge and know what these men did.  This book has now become a necessity in this social civil war that we are having in this country.  The far left believes that the United States is a rotten nation and always has been.  This is what they're teaching." 

Bill also stressed that not all statues are created equal and not all deserve to be standing on public ground:  "There's a difference between General Nathan Bedford Forrest, who founded the Ku Klux Klan, and General Robert E. Lee.  Bad things happened in this country, but the good things are just so amazing.  I'm getting tired of people telling me that the United States is a terrible nation and it's an absolute lie that it was set up to empower white supremacists.  The media is really irresponsible right now and I don't know any place where you can get the straight story."
