A Dangerous Game

Anger rising across the country, and Donald Trump is once again in the middle of it.  Now, the Justice Department doesn't want Americans to see who is accusing Mr. Trump of illegally removing classified documents from the White House.

But wait.  The Constitution gives all Americans the right to face their accusers, correct?  So, if a criminal charge is filed, those folks have to be identified.

But if no charges are forthcoming, the testifiers get away with smearing Trump? Is that it?

Hope not.

As I said, drastic action requires precise explanation in a democracy.  Attorney General Garland launched a drastic measure against a former president.  But, apparently, Garland doesn't believe we the people should know what he's doing with his police power.

Merrick Garland is playing a very dangerous game that could very well come back to haunt him.
