President Biden's trip to El Paso on Sunday is a fool's errand. Everyone knows that his border policies are a disaster bringing suffering and death to the poor who are desperately trying to enter the USA because they think our immigration laws are no longer being enforced.
Which is true.
Now Mr. Biden says he's ordering migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, and Nicaragua to be immediately deported. But others, about six million on his watch, can stay.
The tragic truth is that the President has no idea what he's doing on immigration and many other problems. We are witnessing incredible incompetence.
