A D.C. City Council member described Washington, D.C. as a "border town" after the Mayor declared a public emergency in response to the migrant influx.
City officials are blaming the governors of Arizona and Texas for busing in illegal immigrants to the nation's capitol, saying they are unprepared and overwhelmed with the situation.
Obviously, they're missing the point of the exercise, that Arizona and Texas are also overwhelmed by the situation.
Washington is now dealing with what border states have to deal with, made more difficult by progressive policies on the matter.
One would hope they figure it out.
