The ultimate be careful what you wish for is coming to pass in Washington, D.C.  As everybody knows, Democrats have been desperately trying to link President Trump to Jeffrey Epstein.

That’s what the incessant media coverage is all about, and the self-righteous demand for documents is driven by that as well.

But what is actually happening now is that Bill and Hillary Clinton may be in severe legal trouble because they have defied subpoenas to testify about Jeffrey Epstein in front of the House Oversight Committee.

That Committee is now going to vote on contempt charges against the Clintons. Then it will go to the full House for the vote. And it is very likely to pass.

If that happens, then the specter of Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon appears. You may remember that the two refused to testify in front of the House about the January 6th riot. They were both sentenced to prison terms.

So, if a scenario unfolds in which the Clintons continue to defy subpoenas, there is a chance they would be sentenced to prison. Former President Clinton could claim some type of executive privilege, but it would be dicey. Former First Lady Hillary Clinton is out there without a defense.

Finally, the reason that the Clintons are in trouble is that Bill Clinton did cavort with Epstein; photos prove that. And the Clinton charitable foundation apparently used Epstein’s jet scores of times to go around the world.

Democrats may be regretting their obsession with Jeffrey Epstein.
