Another day, another ceasefire.  Or something.  Not sure.  But once again, President Trump is telling the nation a “deal” with Iran will soon be signed.

Yes, we’ve heard that many times.  Maybe this time it will happen.  Everyone should hope so.  Everyone doesn’t hope so.

Whatever evolves, the Trump haters will hate it.  Demean it. Scorn it.  You will hear that Iran will violate the “deal.”  That it’s too soft.  Too hard.  It took too long.  On and on.

My instincts tell me a deal will get done. The Mullahs are watching their entire country evaporate.  If you think there was unrest in Iran before, now there’s a nationwide bitterness.

Few will thank President Trump if he actually pulls this off, but I will. Iran has had a free pass to sponsor terrorism and death.  The president is trying to stop that.

Most so-called leaders wouldn’t even attempt it.  Americans should respect the effort, no matter what happens.  That would be the fair thing to do.  Somebody tell the media.
