The New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is a quality guy.  Last year he took time to chat with an acquaintance of mine who has terminal cancer.  Mr. Brees was extremely gracious and compassionate.

    

Recently, the athlete made a video encouraging children to read the Bible.  He did that in conjunction with the Focus on the Family group.  Almost immediately, the vicious Twitter mob attacked Drew Brees because Focus on the Family holds traditional beliefs on marriage and adoption.

    

Drew Brees is not endorsing Focus on the Family, he is simply getting a positive message out to kids.  Yet, the haters have branded him.

    

As I reported last night on The No Spin News, the Twitter Mob is a destructive, out of control force that is hurting America.  And there doesn’t seem to be any way to counter it.

   
But you might drop Drew Brees a note.  He’s a special guy.  He deserves support.
