Central Florida News 13: Feral chickens have gotten to be such a problem in a part of Polk County that a team of chicken chasers have been called in to round them up. More than 600 of the chickens are said to be running around in northwest Lakeland. The neighborhood legend is that some folks in the area used to have chickens in cages and let them go and over the years, allowing the population to multiply.
