Fridays in July are always get away days and not just in the travel sense. We all need relief from the pressure of life including the inefficiency of our government. The beach or the mountains help us to cope.
With health care reform in disarray, now comes the tax cut debate. I was talking with Glenn Beck on the radio today and said if the Republicans in Congress cannot pass new tax codes that help working Americans, the party is finished in the short term. Along with that, President Trump will look weak.
So, for Trump supporters, everything rides on getting tax cuts passed very soon and having them retroactive to the first of this year. Crunch time is here.
