NFL coach Jack Del Rio is getting slammed by social media and the press for describing the Jan. 6 Capitol riot as a 'dust-up.'

What happened on Jan. 6 was hardly a 'dust-up,' to diminish that is just plain wrong. But one must wonder if the controversy and reaction is more about Del Rio's tweet question where he asked why the George Floyd protests do not warrant an investigation.

The murder of Floyd by a now-convicted police officer was followed by days of violence that crippled the nation.

Most reasonable people would agree that all three events, Floyd's death, the violent aftermath, and the Capitol clash were terrible.
