The kicker for the Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs raised some eyebrows this week when discussing the shooting that marred the victory celebration.

You see, Harrison Butker dismissed the usual shooting reaction and spoke about what he felt was the cause of the gun violence issues: the lack of fathers in the home.

Rather than jump on the 'ban the guns' bandwagon, Butker instead offered a thoughtful commentary on how many young men lack a positive male role model to help them cope with anger.

Some may dislike his take.

But give Butker credit; he's addressing the problem, not just calling for a band-aid.
