NBC News reported yesterday that there are currently 80 separate investigations into President Trump at this moment.  By the end of the day, there could be more.

     

80 sounds kind of high to me but there certainly is no doubt that the President’s detractors are trying to make it impossible for him to govern.  

   
This is a political gamble as some independent voters might perceive the strategy as unfair and damaging to the nation.  That, of course, is how President Trump, himself, is portraying the situation.

   
It looks like the strategy coming out of the White House is to not cooperate with any investigation or request for information.  That could be risky as well but not as much as what the democrats are doing.

   
President Trump’s base remains solid and is not engaged in the hunt for corruption.  By giving democrats the proverbial finger, Mr. Trump does not have much to lose.
