We are researching the federal Grand Jury indictment of former FBI chief James Comey because it’s complicated.  I will have the full story for you in Sunday’s column, and it will be fair and precise, unlike most media analysis of the situation.

We already know a few things.  The Durham Report on the phony Russian Collusion story excoriated the FBI and, by association, its director James Comey.

The liberal civil servant also used bogus information to obtain federal warrants in order to spy on the Trump campaign.  Not debatable, that’s what happened.

Comey also completely screwed up the Hillary Clinton classified information investigation.  Embarrassing.

But all of that doesn’t mean James Comey committed a crime.  This will not be an easy case to win, and Comey will not enter a plea.  In addition, all negative statements about Comey by President Trump will help the defense, which will say a fair trial is impossible.

So, check my Sunday column out for more specifics about this “payback” case.  New York Attorney General Letitia James looks like she’ll be next.
