MarketWatch: A big majority of Republicans - 71% - are showing affinity for the tea party in a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll out Wednesday, evidence that the small-government movement has made itself a major force in U.S. politics. The 71% is made up of two groups: 50% of all Republicans who describe themselves as tea-party supporters and an additional one-in-five who said they have a positive view of the movement or hope its candidates do well in the midterm elections.
