ABC News: Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the man who calls himself "America's toughest sheriff," says he is considering a run for U.S. Senate in 2012 and has the money and votes to be competitive. "The issue is whether I want to leave this office and go to Washington and try to make a difference there, which I would do if I run and win," Arpaio, 78, said in an interview with The Hill.
