The Oklahoman: U.S. Rep. Mary Fallin on Monday said her recent comments about motherhood and qualifications to be governor have nothing to do with her opponent. But Lt. Gov. Jari Askins says she believes Fallin is trying to make a point. Askins, a Democrat, faces Fallin, a Republican, on the Nov. 2 ballot. Askins has never been married and has no children.
