Most Americans know the media is corrupt according to a new poll from Quinnipiac University. And those folks who do not believe that are deceiving themselves.
Here’s a perfect example: media coverage of Roy Moore is wall to wall. But the corruption trial of Senator Robert Menendez, a democrat, has received scant attention even though there are lurid accusations as there are with Moore.
It is certainly possible that Menendez will be found not guilty by a jury so caution in covering the story is a must. Moore has not been charged with anything so he is being tried by the press and the verdict is guilty.
Judge Moore’s defense has been weak and he must know that. It is virtually impossible for folks to defend him at this point.
However, that doesn’t mean the media should ignore the Menendez trial which in some ways parallels Moore.
But they are.
Because many in the media are dishonest.
