Napolitano wants investigation into release of illegal immigrant

Richmond Times-Dispatch: Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano this evening ordered an immediate investigation into the circumstances surrounding the release from detention of a Prince William County man charged in a fatal Sunday collision that killed a Benedictine nun and injured two others. "DHS regrets the tragic loss of life in Prince William County this weekend. Secretary Napolitano has ordered an immediate review into the circumstances leading to this individual being released in 2008," DHS spokesman Matt Chandler said in a press release.
