Newark Star-Ledger: A 39-year-old father of two has been fired from his job at NJ Transit for burning a Quran at the site of the proposed mosque near Ground Zero, according to a report on NYDailyNews.com. Derek Fenton of Bloomingdale worked for the agency for 11 years as a train conductor and later an assistant train-consist coordinator, the report said. Pictures of Fenton setting pages of the Muslim holy book on fire appeared in newspapers Monday.
