As we enter 2024, Americans will have to decide what kind of a country they want. We are in the middle of a social civil war that could go either way in November. If traditional voters prevail with a Republican majority in Congress and Donald Trump in the Oval Office, the following things are likely to happen.

- The President will continue to verbally attack his political and media enemies almost every day.

- Mr. Trump will immediately sign an executive order closing the southern border to immigration for an extended period.

- Trump will also sign another round of tax cuts while opening up federal land to fossil fuel production.

- As president, Mr. Trump will cut a deal with Putin to stop the fighting in Ukraine. Current boundaries will likely stay put.

- Universities that espouse DEI will lose government subsidies.

If the Democrats and President Biden continue in power, the border chaos will lessen a little, but millions of migrants will be granted residence in the USA for four more years. In addition ...

-Taxes will increase on corporations and the affluent.

- Record federal spending will also increase, as will government mandates on individual conduct to stem global warming.

- Social disorder will continue as criminals will be granted diversion sentences rather than prison.

- Drug use, including marijuana, will spike to record levels.

- Jihadists overseas will reconstitute, leading to a new wave of attacks spurred on by the Mullahs in Iran, who will continue developing nuclear weapons.

High consumer prices will remain, but that could very well be the case under Trump as well.

Of course, there is much more on both sides. But what you have read here will all happen depending on our political arc.
