USA Today: We have a date for President Obama's speech on joblessness -- Thursday, Sept. 8. What we don't have is a specific time -- though we know he will be done by 8:30 p.m., which happens to be the start time for the season-opening pro football game between the Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints. "I can assure all you football fans that he will be completed before kick-off," White House spokesman Jay Carney said.
