USA Today: President Obama, aiming to reinforce the message that the second half of his first term will be all about jobs, has just named General Electric Co. President Jeffrey Immelt to head a new White House Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. "We think GE has something to teach businesses all across America," Obama said.
