New York Daily News: Austan Goolsbee, President Obama's key economic adviser, will resign from his post this summer, the White House said Monday. The announcement comes after a devastating May jobs report from the Labor Department, which saw unemployment climb to 9.1%. And Goolsbee is just the latest member of Obama's economic team to depart. Former White House Budget Director Peter Orzag, former chairwoman of the Council of Economic Advisors, Christina Romer, and former director of the National Economic Council, Larry Summers, have also put the Obama administration in their rearview mirror in recent months.
