Wall Street Journal: In a live broadcast Friday morning from Chicago, a tearful Oprah Winfrey announced that she's leaving her long-running program "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 2011.

Ms. Winfrey's spokeswoman had confirmed on Thursday that the host was leaving her show. Ms. Winfrey plans to launch a new television network, OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, with Discovery Communications Inc.
