The State Column: A number of polls released Monday show President Obama's approval rating plummeting in key states. According to a Roanoke College poll released Monday, Mr. Obama's approval ratings show him trailing the two top Republican challengers, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney and Texas Republican governor Rick Perry.
