President Trump’s re-election kickoff speech was business as usual with one major exception. He hit the radical left hard using three major examples: the Brett Kavanaugh attacks, the open border policies of the democrats and that party’s embrace of the Sanctuary City movement.
Mr. Trump apparently believes that most Americans want a sane immigration policy not the free for all the democrats have enabled. The Kavanaugh stuff is all about the denial of due process, a huge issue but a confusing one. If the President is going to use the Justice Kavanaugh situation to marginalize democrats he must get more personal.
Every American can be accused of anything at anytime. If there is nothing to back up the accusation as in the Kavanaugh case and the person under suspicion is still deemed guilty - we do not have a just country.
Democrats in the Senate convicted Kavanaugh with Kamala Harris and Corey Booker leading the way. That should eliminate those two from serious consideration for higher office. But in today’s Democrat Party, it does not. Mr. Trump could use that to his advantage.
