The growing acrimony between President Trump and the FBI is not good for anyone. The Bureau has removed agent Peter Strzok from the Russian-election investigation because of emails critical of Donald Trump that the agent sent to his alleged mistress. Mr. Strzok was also one of the top investigators on the Hillary Clinton-email fiasco.
There is no question that the FBI is now somewhat compromised and anything the Bureau puts forth about Mr. Trump will be challenged going forward. Former FBI chief James Comey is the poster boy for suspicions about the Bureau.
