The news today that President Trump is the most admired man in America must have roiled many in the media. The Gallup poll says 18 percent of adults opine Mr. Trump is the person they most respect. Joe Biden clocked in at six percent.

 

The reason Donald Trump came out on top this year, when he did not his first four years in office, is that his most ardent supporters believe the election was rife with fraud. Yes, 74 million voters affirmed the President’s policies. But this respect vote is largely personal.

 

If you have read my book “The United States of Trump,” you know the President is a complicated man. But he’s no phony. Americans know he has endured more vitriol than any other President with the exception of Abraham Lincoln. So, finally, Donald Trump is receiving some sympathy.
