Neither party has any solution to bringing down the prices of essentials: Gas, food, insurance, whatever it may be.
There are no Democrats or Republicans out there saying: “Here’s my plan, vote for me, I’ll do THIS, and you’re going to have more money in the bank.”
They won’t do that because that’s not how capitalism works. The government cannot control the free marketplace.
When there’s plenty of product for sale, the prices go down. When there is a shortage of labor, the wages go up. Government cannot change that.
Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy wants to raise the minimum wage to $ 25 an hour. What do you think will happen? Small businesses will fold all over the country; the unemployment rate will surge.
This is what the Democratic Party is pushing in November. Of course, these policies will lead to even more financial misery. That prediction is easy to make.
So, what’s the Republican plan to bring down prices? We’re still waiting.
