The Journal News: The wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been charged with driving while intoxicated, two days after a "domestic incident" at the couple's home in town, police said Tuesday.

Mary Richardson Kennedy, 50, was arrested about 9 p.m. Saturday outside St. Patrick's School on Greenwich Road near Route 22, police said.

Police Lt. Jeff Dickan said Kennedy had a blood-alcohol level of 0.11 percent at the time of her arrest. The legal limit for DWI is 0.08 percent.

Bedford Police Officer Andrew Klein said he saw Kennedy's 2004 Volvo station wagon drive over the curb in the driveway at the school.
