Revenge politics, that’s what Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz says both political parties are practicing and he’s fed up with it. Schultz, who is promoting a book, says he might run for President as an independent.
A fair assessment of the political situation would have to say that the Democrats are the primary revenge seekers. After Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton there was no reason for Republicans to want revenge - they won. The GOP, including the President, react to the unceasing attacks and now may want revenge for that. But it’s obvious who started the brawl.
Schultz is a billionaire whose politically correct view of the country is somewhat annoying, but he’s right about the poisonous politics in America. Somebody has to save us from that. It won’t be Senator Kamala Harris who gave her kick off campaign speech in Oakland yesterday. Same old Kamala, promising huge government subsidies to the folks. Check the national debt, Senator.
Tonight on the No Spin News, another day, another apology. Tom Brokaw tweeted an apology for his comments he made about Hispanics on television. We’ll analyze that, the Wall, and other fun stuff beginning at 7 eastern.
Thanks for the visit.
