Sex offender freed from prison after five years

Burlington Free Press: A man whose light sentence for child sex abuse generated national controversy in 2006 was released from prison Wednesday. Mark J. Hulett, 39, left the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility in South Burlington and was freed to community supervision, according to the Vermont Corrections inmate locator website.
