CBC: The Daily Show host Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report's Stephen Colbert are setting up duelling rallies in Washington just ahead of the November congressional elections. They have jointly applied for a permit for a rally for 25,000 people on Oct. 30 - Stewart for a Rally to Restore Sanity and Colbert for a March to Keep Fear Alive. The two comedians have set themselves up as faux political enemies in satire that mocks some of the rhetoric of right-wing TV news and bloggers.
