It is clear that anticipating media reaction is not one of President Trump’s strong points.  As predicted on BOR.com last week, the hate-Trump press desperately needed a diversion away from North Korea and the Inspector General’s report.  And the Trump administration handed it to them by allowing migrant children at the southern border to be separated from the adults who attempted to enter the USA illegally.

On the law, the administration is correct.  But in the court of public opinion, this is a disaster the Republican Party does not want.  With midterm elections less than six months away, the image of crying kids in government compounds has angered Americans of all political persuasions.  There is a better way to handle border security as we discussed last night on the No Spin News.

The press, of course, is running wild with the story totally ignoring the root causes that put migrant children in jeopardy every day. Border chaos and danger to poor people trying to get to America is not a story the press wants to tell.  Once again, they are not seeking the truth. They simply want to hurt President Trump and now they have a new sword handed to them by his administration.

Tonight, I will tell you what I would do if I were Mr. Trump. The President needs to act fast, to help the children and to illuminate the big picture on the border.

It all starts at 7 eastern time.  Hope you see you then.
