Social media once again highlights America's extreme division, not just between Democrats and Republicans but within other groups.

Then there's the tragic story, possibly the more important story, of Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin who collapsed Monday on national television and was revived on the field after suffering cardiac arrest.

 

What started as unity in support of a 24-year-old man in critical condition has now turned into people determining who deserves blame and outrage over sports personalities delivering hot takes in real-time.

 

His teammates are pleading with people not to share Hamlin's collapse online, and people wondering when the game will resume are being trashed.
