'The Factor' won't run in the Kentucky Derby due to injury

New York Times: The Factor is still recuperating from throat surgery and will not run in the Kentucky Derby, his trainer, Bob Baffert, said. The Factor appeared to be an early Derby favorite after winning the San Vincente and the Rebel Stakes but was seventh in the Arkansas Derby on April 16.
