The horror of October 7th is well remembered by those of us who believe justice is important in this world. I open my new book, “Confronting Evil,” by putting the reader in the small Israeli town that Hamas attacked for absolutely no reason. After you read what happened two years ago, you will understand evil, and that vision is very important.
The attack on 9/11 is similar. What gains were made by bin Laden and al Qaeda? How did Hamas do after slaughtering innocent Jews 23 years later?
The answer is that nothing was gained. Massive death and destruction followed both cowardly attacks. I guess that’s what the terrorists want - violence for the sake of violence. No cause justifies that.
Misguided souls who sympathize with terror groups usually have their own individual problems. Steer clear of those people because they enable evil in this world.
Those who pursue peace and justice should be respected and acknowledged. Too often, we don’t do that. But it is imperative for all good people to mobilize against the horror in this world.
And the first week of October is a perfect time to start.
See you this evening for the No Spin News.
