One of the trends of campaign 2024 is calling your opponent "a liar." The media accuses Donald Trump of lying every hour of every day. And, to be truthful, the former president does exaggerate and mislead on a regular basis.

It's amusing to watch CNN and NBC employees act indignantly about Mr. Trump's verbiage when their guy, Joe Biden, could easily be hired as a spokesperson for the Whopper.

Have it your way, Joe.

"The border is secure" and the Afghanistan withdrawal was "excellent" are two of my personal favorites.

Now, I am not practicing " what aboutism," which is foolish and deceitful. I am simply reporting that politicians have raised false witness to record levels, and selective outrage is ridiculous.

If you watched the Nikki Haley-Ron DeSantis debate the other night, you saw the two go back and forth, hurling the L word at each other.

It was boring.

We are all living in a world where telling the truth is no longer a sign of character. Now, the end justifies the means. If lying gets results, then okay, let the deception begin.

That's the truth. So help me God.

Enjoy the weekend. New column on Sunday.
