A liberal pundit named Mona Charen provided some humor this week when she opined that Republicans who criticize the indictment of Donald Trump are "soft on crime."
Jerry Seinfeld envies that kind of humorous insight.
But, alas, that's what Mona really believes because it fits into her "Trump is the devil narrative." In fact, I was surprised the woman didn't accuse indictment dissenters of being Satan worshipers.
If we carry Mona's analysis forward, anyone objecting to wild government spending would be anti-money. Critical of open borders? You'd be anti-travel.
Fed up with rampant cursing everywhere? You are soft on free expression.
For the left, anything bad that happens to Donald Trump is good. I almost put him on the cover of my upcoming book: "Killing the Witches." Mona Charen and her caravan want the former President, and perhaps those who support him, to suffer. A lot.
