So working together is out.  Republicans and Democrats on Capitol Hill have their orders, and cooperation isn’t in the mix. You might think both parties would be interested in reopening the government.

 

Not very.

 

There is blame everywhere. The Dems despise Trump, so everything he does is wrong. No compromise. The GOP believes the radical left will destroy any chance of a democrat resurgence in the midterms next year, so why get in the way of that?  Just continue to antagonize the lefties so they act stupid.

 

Meanwhile, we the people, are waiting for food prices to come down and would like to see some problem-solving legislation, like a new immigration law.  The one on the books is from 1952, for crying out loud.

 

But that’s not going to happen anytime soon.  Instead, we’ll get more Hitler, Epstein, gotcha, getcha.

 

Hey, why not shut that nonsense down? We can dream.
