We are living in a time when truth really doesn’t matter very much. Americans are generally so distracted with work and technology that the difficult task of actually finding out what is real and what is false is not a priority for many citizens.
Think about your own life. Do you believe what you see and hear in the press even when you agree with what’s being put out there? If you do accept the headlines, let me ask you a question: why?
According to the polls, most Americans know the media is now essentially a corrupt enterprise - existing to make money by promoting a point-of-view.
There is little truth-seeking in that.
How about what you see on the net? Do you believe that? Again, if you do, why? There is no standard of honesty in cyberspace. None.
The United States depends on an informed, educated population in order for truth and justice to be embraced. But we no longer have reliable vehicles to broker honest information. This is dangerous.
We try here. So please spread the word. The analysis we bring you daily is built on facts and a belief that the USA deserves honesty in the public arena.
We’ll prove it again tonight beginning at 7 eastern time.
