As the evidence mounts against President Biden that he participated in enriching his family by misusing his power as Vice President, two other powerful federal officials have to be very concerned about themselves.

Attorney General Merrick Garland told Congress that U.S. Attorney David Weiss had the power to fully investigate Hunter Biden anywhere in the USA.  Not true.  We now know that US Attorneys in California and Washington DC, both Biden appointees, refused to cooperate with Weiss, and Merrick Garland did nothing about it.

Lying to Congress is a serious situation. Garland will eventually be held responsible.  He shows up again this coming Wednesday for further interrogation.

And then there's Christopher Wray, the director of the FBI.  A paid informant for the Bureau told agents that Joe Biden received $5 million dollars from a business in Ukraine, Burisma, which was being investigated for corruption in that country. The informant's allegation was put into an FBI memo, and then it seemingly disappeared. Surely, Wray knew about the memo.  So what happened?

Wray won't say.

The heavy odds are that Biden, Garland, and Wray will all eventually be brought down by the influence-peddling scandal. It will take a while, but the stars are aligning.

Enjoy the weekend.  Hope you preorder "Killing the Witches," new column Sunday morning.
