Tiffany Cross is a political commentator who was on the air for MSNBC until November, 2022, when they vaporized her.
Ms. Cross anchored a weekend program that spent a lot of time on race issues, usually castigating white society and the power brokers therein. She received survivable ratings which is a low bar at that cable outlet.
When NBC fired Ms. Cross, I was a bit perplexed. The parent company, Comcast, also employs Al Sharpton, Joy Reid and a bevy of white analysts who routinely bash conservative Caucasians. MSNBC embraces that game plan to this day.
So, why did Tiffany Cross get the boot? I don't know. It is true that TV News is a brutal industry with little regard for fair play.
Trust me here, I've been in it nearly half a century.
Ms. Cross isn't incompetent or untalented. She does use her skills to accelerate the racial divide but NBC apparently likes that.
She, herself, says she was terminated by executives unfairly and that a "white man" wouldn't have met the same fate.
Again, I have no clue why Tiffany is no longer friends with the Peacock people. But she's wrong about the white man thing.
Just visit the broadcast news cemetery, Ms. Cross. You'll have lots of company.
Enjoy the weekend. New column Sunday on Trump.
