The drum beat against Robert Mueller continues from the Trump administration. Presidential lawyers have apparently informed the Special Counsel that an interview under oath with the President is doubtful.  The only thing new in the Russian collusion investigation is that Mr. Trump now admits a participation after the fact when his son, Don Jr., briefly met with some sleazy Russians in Trump Tower during the campaign.  Apparently, the President directed some of his son’s public statements on the matter.

Outside of the hate-Trump media echo chamber, most Americans are tired of this never-ending investigation that is all over the place.  The President only heightens interest by continuing to tweet about the injustice he believes he is absorbing from Mueller.

But at this point, everyone knows how Donald Trump feels and right now, he has public opinion on his side.  The smart play would be to button it until the Justice Department issues it’s Inspector General’s report on the Russian and Clinton email investigations.  That could come this week.  If the report says the FBI did something wrong, the President gets a boost and Mueller has problems.

Tonight on the No Spin News, we’ll analyze why Donald Trump and his lawyers continue to draw attention to the Russian situation.  Why are they doing this?  As always, we will report without any agenda or malicious intent.

Hope to see you beginning at 7 this evening.  Also hope you visit our store for great Father’s Day gifts.
