Warm day in Donegal, unusual. Few have A/C here. Touring the "Wild Atlantic Coast." Because Donegal is so far north from the airports, not that many tourists.
Ireland is part of the EU, so the Euro is currency. Northern Island is still tethered to Great Britain so it's the pound there.
The Republic of Ireland is a semi-socialist system, but the folks largely ignore the tax man. Many transactions are done in cash - the "underground" economy.
The country is green literally and figuratively. Windmills are common. Energy costs are very high, lots of complaints about that.
Hope you are enjoying the photos. Fantastic scenery everywhere. Ireland is cleaner than Switzerland. In relatively affluent Donegal, houses are small but kept pristine, generally speaking.
Food is good and tailored to American, rather than British, taste. Will check in all this week.
