The country is in a very strange and depressing place right now.

Nothing says that more than the fact that the man who shot and tried to assassinate President Ronald Reagan is set to play a sold-out concert in Brooklyn, New York.

15-years ago that would be unfathomable.

The man injured others in the shooting, including Press Secretary James Brady who was paralyzed.

Think about this.  What if someone tried to kill President Trump and this hypothetical assassin then played a sold-out concert in San Francisco. Or what if President Biden's hypothetical killer then decided to play an acoustic jam in Alabama?

All scenarios and John Hinkley Jr.'s concert in Brooklyn are outlandish. Whoever put this event on should be ashamed.
