| Detroit Free Press: U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is to speak in Detroit with minority groups and law enforcement officials Nov. 19, say local groups. Holder, the chief law enforcement officer for the U.S. government, is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at a banquet for ALPACT, Advocates and Leaders for Police and Community Trust, an organization of community groups and law enforcement officials in metro Detroit... The group also includes the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, Anti-Defamation League, NAACP, the ACLU and the Council on American-Islamic Relations, along with the chiefs of police in Livonia and Dearborn, among other police officials. |
