Here's a sample of some of our favorite emails that didn't make it to air last night.
OBAMA'S CHURCH DEPARTURE First it was Rev. Wright, then it was Father Pfleger -- anti-Americanism at the pulpit of Sen. Obama's church finally forces him to cut ties with his congregation. Will it be enough to convince Americans he doesn't share the radical beliefs of his former spiritual leaders?
"If Sen. Obama can't stand up and confront Rev. Wright and Father Pfleger, how is he going to stand up to Ahmadinejad and Chavez?" Janet Roeske Mundelein, IL
"For 20 years Obama attended that church and apparently wasn't concerned about the atmosphere there. Now he's running for President and suddenly has a problem with it? He is either a hypocrite or a fool." Lucille Haack Tokyo, Japan
"The morale of the story is that religious delusion poisons everything. America would be better off embracing secularism." Todd Ouzts Draper, UT
"You asked Geraldine Ferraro why she thought Father Pfleger's remarks were racist and sexist. She should have responded: Wise up!" Ron Sonnenberg Grand Island, FL
"Maybe Michelle Obama wouldn't think America is such an awful country if she didn't spend so much time with the likes of Rev. Wright, Father Pfleger and William Ayers." Al Alves Tucson, AZ
"Sen. Obama's been drinking the kool-aid of his radical pastors for too many years for me to believe he disagrees with them. He's only denouncing their words because it's politically expedient." Linda (last name withheld) Raleigh, NC
"Sen. Obama can say whatever he wants to distance himself from Wright and Pfleger now, but the fact that he let his kids sit there in the pews and listen to this vitriol tells me everything I need to know." Jason Allen Phoenix, AZ
"This election is widening the racial divide." Barbara Altieri Orange, CT
"I'm a 72-year-old lifelong Catholic. The hate coming out of Father Pfleger's mouth is good cause for him to be defrocked." Jack Bolkovac New Springfield, OH
"Father Pfleger is a nut and his comments mocking Hillary Clinton were awful. Having said that, he's done a lot of good for the poor people of Chicago." Richard Doyle Clayton, MO
"Sen. Obama's church has become nothing more than a political podium. Forgive me, but why isn't it losing its tax-exempt status?" Amber Hall Everett, PA
"Bill, please get over your crush on Obama. It's almost painful to watch. I thought I could get honest coverage from you, but Obama's magical spell has got even you in a trance." Jon Gallo Carlstadt, NJ
"Bill, you've been giving Obama the benefit of the doubt for too long. His long associations raise tremendous doubt because birds of a feather flock together." Rodney Warnock East Wenatchee, WA
"SEX & THE CITY" -- CALLING ALL MEN! What do Factor viewers make of men who are standing in line to see the ultimate chick flick, the new "Sex And The City" movie?
"I would rather pull my teeth out with a pair of pliers than watch that movie." Steve Kapp Grove, OK
"Most men who are going to see this movie are going to appease a wife or girlfriend. Word to the wise: 'Sex And The City' leads to sex in the bed!" Chris Ferguson Iowa City, IA
"You're missing the point. We just want to know the end of the story." Helene Weldon Park City, UT
"The shoes and the clothes are fun, but the show is really about the friendship bond between the female characters." Carolee Smith Goldthwaite, TX
"Bill, this is only a movie. It has nothing to do with real life. Most women don't relate to this. It's just fun." Marian Stanton Canton, OH
"I am married to a great woman and was happy to see 'Sex And The City' today with her. Please don't pass judgment on a movie you haven't seen. It was actually quite good." Terry Carroll Folsom, CA
"If your guest really thinks mainstream women are like the women on the show, he is out of touch with the female persuasion." Carrie M. Saginaw, TX
PACKING HER BAGS? Liberal actress Susan Sarandon says she's moving to Canada or Italy if John McCain is elected President of the United States. That makes her the Factor's reigning pinhead!
"Message to Susan: why wait? Avoid the liberal rush." Martha Kirby Satellite Beach, FL
"My advice to Susan Sarandon is move now. Things will never be just as you want them to be." Paul Williams Fresno, CA
"How arrogant and ego-centric does a person have to be to think we care if she moves away? I wish she'd leave, but alas, I fear this is just a teaser." Delson Craig Louisville, KY
"John McCain should tell Susan Sarandon: Make my day!" Craig Sullivan Clinton, WA
MISCELLANEOUS "My far-left teacher today called me a Bill O'Reilly culture warrior. I smiled and took it as a compliment." Nate Hutt Redding, CA
"I had considered myself a liberal since age 14. I now find myself agreeing with you more and more. This scares me. Maybe at age 54 I'm finally growing up!" Ed Como Columbus, OH
"Dear Bill, received my Factor staff shirt. I'm ready to start drawing a paycheck. When can I start?" Ray Duncan El Paso, TX
"When it comes to O'Reilly, my dear, Be pithy, concise, very clear. Don't bloot or be a snob, To bloviate is his job!" Bernadette Rogers Antelope, CA |
