Hey BillOReilly.com Premium Members, welcome to the No Spin News special Friday edition because I was under water the last three days, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. So you can see me, here I am, and I've got my little whale.

You know what they were doing off my house out in eastern Long Island? They were tagging sharks. They were chumming, if you can believe it, about 300 yards off the beach. So you get the little sharks and then they tag them and put a little chip in them so they can follow them around.

And then I'm saying well, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I mean, if you got the sharks coming in to get tagged, what if the shark says, "you know what, I'm going to go a little further toward the beach."

Come on. And there are trawls out there for four days doing this. So, I don't care, nothing keeps me out of the ocean. But I'm feeling OK because I had a nice week, and beautiful weather here, end of August.

Now on Monday we'll be back. You'll be able to see me on Monday. And then the rest of next week, unless there's a big breaking thing, I'll be on audio. But I guess you guys are liking the audio, it's kind of fun. But I'd rather be looking at you.

So that's what's going to happen. Monday will be with video and the rest of the week, audio. And then we'll start video after Labor Day forever.

You know, as I said, we have a lot of surprises both editorially and technically for you in September. So we hope you stay with us.

Now, tonight's No Spin News is going to be really different, because I did two interviews this morning about the statue controversy, which is getting out of control.

Alright, now they're throwing shrouds over people. The nutty New York City Mayor, de Blasio, wants to knock down Christopher Columbus. Now Peter Stuyvesant, the guy who founded Manhattan...it's never going to end.

And this is just fortunate for me. Killing England, The Brutal Struggle for American Independence, my new book, comes out September 19 and it deals exactly with George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and who they were as men.

Washington and Jefferson had slaves. They held slaves and their wives did as well. So how did they conduct themselves on the plantation? What happened there?

So I want everybody to read Killing England. You can order it on Amazon.com or BillOReilly.com. If you order it on BillOReilly.com, this website, you get 50 percent off any other killing book. And if you sign up or re-up your membership you get it free.

But the importance is that this debate and this assault on American history is going to continue by the far left. And you, the American citizen, has got to be armed. You've got to know who these men were, what they did. And so the book now, which is a very entertaining and illuminative history as all the killing books are, now becomes a social necessity in this civil war that we have in this country.

You've got to know, because they're not going to teach you or your kids in high school, and college is just all crazy, we dealt with it yesterday. This Clemson Professor. Look, the bottom line on this is that the far left in this country, and that includes some elected officials, believe the United States is a rotten nation and always has been, and that Jefferson and Madison and Washington and Franklin and Adams and Hancock, they set it up this way on purpose.

This idiot in Clemson, "Oh, the whole country is set up so white men can prosper while everybody else gets hosed." This is what they're teaching, and there's kids walking in and they don't know anything. And the majority of voters, I mean, that's why I created Watters' World. You remember Watters' World, another thing down the drain.

But you remember what happens. OK. You ask them about anything, nobody knows. Nobody knows anything.

You read Killing England, again out September 19, but preorder it so you get it first, you'll know everything about that. So when your crazy left wing neighbor comes over and goes "oh, well it's white supremacy," you'll be able to say, "hold it."

You look at people in totality. There's a difference between general Nathan Bedford Forrest, the founder of the Ku Klux Klan, and General Robert E. Lee. There's a big difference. OK.

This is driving me crazy because it's a cudgel, Word of the Day. Cudgel. Boom, boom, boom, hammer your nation, hammer your nation. Give Colin Kaepernick more ammunition and people like him to say, "oh, unjust, unjust, unjust."

No nation's perfect. If you read the killing series, we're pretty upfront about bad things that have happened in this country throughout history.

Killing England's no exception. Alright, it's no exception. You're going to see the bad things that happened. But the good things are so amazing. What Washington and Jefferson and Franklin did.

It's just, I'm telling you, I'm rereading it for the fourth time now that I finally got the book and I still can't believe that Martin Dugard found all this stuff. Because he's the researcher, and I'm the storyteller on these books.

So anyway, let me get back to the No Spin News tonight.

We have two things that you can click to after this bloviating. We have the Glenn Beck radio program, and Beck was really good today. He's usually good, he's very entertaining and he's on it. Alright. But he's good at his questions to me about the statue stuff and all of that. And I think Beck and I are more simpatico on this issue than most others. But his questions were good. And that's why I did it, because I wanted people to ask me.

And then Newsmax, we did about a half hour with them. It's a wider ranging interview. A lot of statues, a lot of Killing England. But it was wider stuff. It was good too. John, the interviewer, was on it and they're aware. John actually read a lot of Killing England. Beck had read a little of it.

So what we want you to do, and this is open to everybody as I said, is click on over and listen to both of them and then you'll get a pretty good idea of what's happening in the country right now, why it's happening, what you can do about it, and what information you need to acquire.

So, I mean, again, I'm lucky in the sense that Killing England... I have no idea the statue controversy was going to erupt. Nobody could. But this is right in it, right in that wheel house.

I'm getting tired of people telling me that the United States of America is a terrible nation, and it's an absolute lie that it was set up to empower white men. An absolute lie that Franklin, Jefferson, and Washington were white supremacists. I mean, and that's what they're kicking out.

And the media's letting them go, just letting them go. I watch now, not a lot anymore, I really, you know, but once in a while I have to. I have the snippets, and it is really irresponsible what's happening out there. I mean, I don't know anywhere now where you can get the straight story.

I used to be at eight o'clock coming on the air and six million people would say, "OK Bill, tell us what really happened." And I would. This isn't a knock on anybody. But that format has gone.

Gone. It's not coming back unless we decide to do something and we may. We may. Because I just think the country's... you know, the whole thing is now so out of whack.

And finally, our prayers are with everybody down in Texas and Louisiana on the hurricane front. You know, these things are... Hurricane Harvey, always a pain in the butt. Coming in, a lot of destruction. You know, I live on the coast. It's just the price you pay to be close to nature and in a beautiful situation.

So we hope that Harvey peters out. But we're thinking about you guys out there and we know the danger of this. So, be careful if you live down in those areas. Take precautions, it's always worth it. And I want you to have a great weekend. And I will talk to you again on Monday.
